Independence Day Celebrations at Hill Country Galleria

HillcountrygalleriaCelebrate Independence Day at the Hill Country Galleria with “the best firework show in Central Texas” and live music from Vallejo and KP and the Boom Boom.

Emceed by Sun Radio 100.1FM, the Hill Country Galleria will host an Independence Day Celebration at its Amphitheater on Monday, July 4 from 6:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. A complimentary face painter will be on hand for kids, and the young at heart of all ages can enjoy snowballs and treats served up by The Candy Jar.

There also are over 20 restaurant and food options within the Galleria to dine-in or pick up dinner to-go for the Amphitheater. While some stores and restaurants will maintain regular hours, the Hill Country Galleria’s main hours on Monday, July 4 are 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.

The fireworks display, which will take place at the end of the event at approximately 9:15 p.m., will be conducted northwest of the outdoor Amphitheater, with prime viewing areas found on the Amphitheater’s grassy lawn or on the east side of the Amphitheater (nearest The Candy Jar). Bring your own chairs or blankets to enjoy the festivities and fireworks show. Parking and admission are free.

AmysicecreamTwo days earlier, enjoy Amy’s Ice Creams Summer Block Party. On Saturday, July 2 from 1 p.m. to 6 p.m., the event will include activities and a raffle. From 2 p.m. to 3 p.m., kids can participate in Future Scoop Training, where “experienced tricksters will teach kids ages 7-12 how to throw ice cream like the pro’s!” E-mail to sign up for Scoop Training.
