West Lake Hills and the surrounding areas had mixed results for area real estate in July 2018, according to the Austin Board of REALTORS® Regional Sales and Price Activity provided by the Real Estate Center at Texas A&M University.

Westlake Hills homes had a median price of $986,000 in July 2018. This is a 31.8 percent decrease from June 2018 and a 21.9 percent decrease from July of 2017. Five homes sold in July 2018, which is a 64.3 percent decrease from June 2018 but a 25 percent increase from July 2017.

Further west, Bee Cave homes had a median price of $582,500 in July 2018. This is a 3.4 percent decrease from June 2018 and a 29.4 percent decrease from July of 2017. Four homes sold in July 2018, which is a 33.3 percent decrease from June 2018 and a 20 percent decrease from July 2017.

Toward the hill country, Spicewood homes had a median price of $489,570 in July 2018. This is a 2.6 percent increase from June 2018 and a 14.5 percent increase from July of 2017. Twenty-two homes sold in July 2018, which is a 4.8 percent increase from June 2018 and a 10 percent increase from July 2017.

Further south, Dripping Springs homes had a median price of $444,500 in July 2018. This is a 3.4 percent decrease from June 2018 and a 23.4 percent decrease from July of 2017. Thirty-four homes sold in July 2018, which is a 9.7 percent increase from June 2018 and a 30.8 percent increase from July 2017.
